I love Gingerbread houses but as old as I am, (and I won't tell you how old that is but I have teenager grandkids), I have never made one. You did a wonderful job on this card. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteHow yummy is this love gingerbread and ginger biscuits but this has candy too so that my sweet tooth satisfied lovely tasteful card
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I don't think I have had Gingerbread for some years but this one certainly looks mouth-watering.
ReplyDeleteThis Gingerbread House looks good enough to eat! xx
ReplyDeleteThe glossy accents make it look like real candy. I love the CAS look of this card. It's something I really admire but cannot make. I'm always looking to add and add and add!
ReplyDeleteGingerbread is my favorite cake but I have yet to make a gingerbread house. Seeing this one covered in icing and sweeties what excuse can I have not to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card. The simplicity of the embossed border really makes the image pop. I'm with Suzanne H, I would have had to embellish the hell out of it too ;)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing missing is a traditional candy cane and then I realised the gingerbread man from day 4 has one along a Christmas tree. The questions is ..... is he on the way to the house to decorate or walking away nonchalantly with ill gotten gains..... after all who would suspect an innocent gingerbread man of such a thing?
Oh Beccy this gingerbread house is gorgeous. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteSo pretty x
ReplyDeleteGingerbread - how good that you reminded me. I have to prepare a cake tomorrow and bake it in 4 weeks. Probably I will not be able to assemble the gingerbread house that I see on your card. That's cute.
ReplyDeleteCute card! Love the cute little gingerbread house
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

I have to admit that I have a very soft spot for anything gingerbread! Gingerbread houses, gingerbread men, gingerbread cookies, yum, yum, yum - they just make me smile! I am already planning my gingerbread cards. Thank you for this adorable gingerbread house inspiration! I relly like the font on the sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteA very cute and lovely Gingerbread house - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYum---gingerbread! That's all I have to say!
ReplyDeleteI love your card with the gingerbread house, Beccy, but the gingerbread church in the set is even more fabulous! I am making cards like crazy, determined to get caught up. Today I posted my "E" card, and I have "F" and "G" almost finished. We'll see when I can get them posted. :-D Too many days behind when I started.
ReplyDeleteSo tasty this gingerbread home surrounded by the sweet colours of candy ! Creative regards, Gina
