  1. Cute cardinal. He looks puzzled by the snow falling.

  2. Oh Beccy, this little guy is so stinking cute with his boots on although I’m not sure how he keeps them on with his tiny “bird” legs. I have always thought red cardinals belong in Christmas cards. You did a great job on your card.

  5. I wasn't expecting a non-letter day just yet but you are keeping us on our toes, right? There are so many to choose from in this category. Looking forward to making some cards with animals. Love that cardinal, especially his little boots. So sweet and perfect with the snowflakes falling.

  6. Ooh, birds. I was going to use a bird for an upcoming letter day but maybe I'll have to think of something else. I love this winter scene you've created. I wonder if cardinals would like to wear boots? I think they would!

  7. Definitely a fun surprise as well as a pretty card, Beccy. Love both your cute cardinal and the background. Isn't it interesting to see that the Christmas bird has some red elements, whether it's the cardinal in the US or the robin in Europe?

  13. Oh Beccy, I love surprises. Your card is cute, this red bird is so funny. I chose an elephant for the card, they are so beautiful. I only saw in the
zoo, but I have always admired their protectiveness.

  17. Is that Santa I see in the sky? Could it be? It just seems like he is seeing something wonderful looking up! He's cute!

  18. We don't have cardinals in the UK so I am always fascinated by how bright the colouring is on them. They look like little punk rockers with a mohican hairdo.

Beccy, have you ever seen pink robins? We have recently followed an Australian bird photographer on YouTube and he introduced us to pink robins. I honestly thought he was winding us up so Googled them. they are the most amazing colours and so different to the robins we get in the UK

    Nature is just wonderful <3

  20. He's so adorable, Beccy! Love the blue, red, white color combo you chose. Fabulous sky. Funny, I'm working with birds for both my "C" and "E" cards. Now I have to try to find yet another bird so that I don't duplicate what I've done or what you've done. Maybe if I fill the bird feeder outside, something will fly by that I can grab. What do you think?
