Today is "D-Day" and I've chosen desserts as my word of the day. Mind you, I'm not sure I could actually eat such a cute little gingerbread man, especially if he was looking up at me with those big brown eyes. Well, maybe just a nibble on those gumdrop buttons...
YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "D" as your prompt.

Darling card Beccy. I don't think I could eat such an adorable gingerbread man either - maybe just the candy cane he is carrying.
ReplyDeleteThe little gingerbread are so cute! Love that you used soft pink and green and the cute little dots on the border!
ReplyDeleteI can relate on not eating them, I still have a Easter bunny standing on my cupboard :)
I'm sorry to say, that even those big brown eyes wouldn't keep me from eating a cookie. :(
ReplyDeleteSo adorable, and a yummy snack!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm always ready for desserts. But if they look at me like that? I think I agree with you, Beccy. Just one button! Or perhaps the star on top of the tree?
ReplyDeleteYour card turned out so sweet, Beccy.
ReplyDeleteChristmas truly is a time to believe in magic, with gingerbread men towing carts with Christmas trees.

I saw that cute Beccy's Image Beagle Doggie in my stash so D had to be Dog for me this time around. The gingerbread is such a cutie! Love him pulling that tree and holding that candy cane - Thanks for the inspiration - a sweet, sweet card!
ReplyDeleteI just realized it's that time of year again?! Love trying to do as many of these challenges as I can. This little gingerbread man is too cute!!
ReplyDeleteI love this little gingerbread man pulling his tree behind him. You did an awesome job of him
ReplyDeleteYou sweetened my day with this lovely card!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Wednesday, Beccy!
Well of course the little gingerbread is cute but oh my gosh your ribbon is so pretty. I have ribbon envy right here as it is so delicate and the perfect compliment to the pastel shades.
ReplyDeleteAww he’s just the cutest dude l couldn’t eat him either your card is adorable x
ReplyDeleteIs the tree and trolley edible too? Those wheels remind me of some liquorice sweets I remember having as a child. Gorgeuos card.
ReplyDeleteI think I would have to name him! Dapper Dan the Gingerbread man! He is cute!
ReplyDeleteOh my Beccy what a sweet card I like how you design it.... now I want to eat a gingerbread cookie and this style does not come until December...TFS
ReplyDeleteYour card is so adorable! Love the paper and that cute gingerbread man!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

I love gingerbread cookies, I bake myself every year. But this cutie could not be swallowed. Luckily mine aren't that cute and they don't have such big eyes.
ReplyDeleteThis smiling gingerbreadman made my day, as I started it smiling.

I'm with Suzanne - I'd definitely have to take a bite! He looks extra yummy to me, soft and chewy! Yes, I do want a bite! Your card is adorable and I love how you coloured him to look so delicious!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea to do desserts, Beccy! I haven't decided yet what to use for my "D" - I've barely gotten "A" and "B" done. :-D Love this delightful laid paper.
ReplyDeleteThis so adorable, Beccy! I'd have a tough time eating him too. This image always reminded me of leading a band or a parade. He's definitely a leader of some kind. Maybe a cheer leader for the Christmas celebrations. Perfect!
