"X" is probably the most difficult letter of the alphabet when trying to choose a theme or prompt, so feel free to interpret it as loosely as you wish. As in previous years, I've resorted to an old favourite - XPress-It blending card, which is the brand of cardstock I use with my alcohol markers.
YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "X" as your prompt.

This is a very pretty card Beccy. I don't have a X-Press and, well, I don't even know what it is. If it helps make pretty cards like this I might need to invest in one.
ReplyDeleteI find X a bit of a challenge but I like to try and tackle the xtra challenge. Lovely card Beccy - that paper that you used is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Becky. Your colouring of the lollipop and the beautiful bow is fabulous. I absolutely love that gorgeous paper too!

Ahhh.. Look at all the yummy x-tra calories. I love the little peppermints on the paper. Your coloring has been so awesome, Beccy. Soft and sweet. Debi
ReplyDeleteWhat a good tip about that card stock. I didn't know it yet. Good to know that it works perfect for colouring, as is your card. The white accents in the candy and bow make it look so real. Love the layout of your card and flourishing design paper you have used. Creative regards, Gina
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of XPress-It blending card but if it helps give these results I must investigate. Very pretty card
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy this is a stunning card. I love it. X is a difficult letter to use. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!

Oooh Beccy this is so shiny and looks good enough to eat. When I was a child I loved nothing more than crunching into a big lollipop like that. As an adult you are always a bit more wary of crunching just in case it's the worst kind of crunch that sends you to the dentist...... the joys of getting older eh? LOL
ReplyDeleteThankyou for the kind comment on my blog. I have a whacking headache and my chest feels like I have a baby elephant sitting in it. Just listening to my body, getting some extra sleep when I can as I am pooped!
X is always a hard one. This is a "sweet" card. I love the soft colors.
ReplyDeleteCute card. I use that brand of card stock too.
ReplyDeleteFor me, this letter is very difficult. Your card is beautiful. I especially like the paper.
ReplyDeleteOh my, are we on X already? Where has the month gone? Your card is gorgeous, Beccy!
ReplyDeleteSuch yummy candy and beautifully colored! I love the background too. What kid (or grown-up) could resist this card!
ReplyDeleteI have done two X-tra special cards for Baby's First Christmas, for 2 diferent familys. What a blessing this year!
