Day 2 - "B"

It's all about the "B" colours - blue, brown and black.
The most difficult part of this card was adding black to a snowy, white snowman! I was worried it would be way too dark, but once the other colours were in place the contrast didn't appear quite as extreme. Although the shadows are very deep, I quite like how the finished image looks.

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "B" as your prompt.

  3. Your snowman looks great in those colors. I do appreciate you providing pre-colored images; it really helps me both in that I can use it as is and I can use it as a guide to help me color. Thanks!

  9. Traditional snowmen do often use coal for eyes and mouth so I think your coloring is spot on! The designer paper and embellishments really make your snowman pop off the page and come to life. Brilliant!

  11. I often use blue on snowmen Christmas cards but never used with brown before. That is quite ironic really as blue and brown is one of my favourite non-Christmas colour schemes. This have given me food for thought so thank you for the inspiration.

  14. Amazing color combination. I thought the snowman would come out sad. And it turned out funny. Once upon a time my winters were full of snow and now I do not remember when I was making a snowman. It's good that we can at least color it. Thank you for being able to blog here again.
