Welcome to the Eighth Annual
Month of Holiday Cards Challenge
Every year I look forward to the start of the Month of Holiday Cards challenge. It's one of the bright spots in the year, which is particularly welcome in 2020! I love to see all the fabulous creations that are added to the challenge, and I really enjoy visiting each of the blogs to see what everyone is creating. The sense of community is heart-warming and it's a real pleasure to be a part of it all.
Before we get started, here's just a brief reminder of the conditions of entry for the November challenge. They're a little different to our regular monthly challenges, so please have a read through to make sure your entry meets the guidelines:
- Each day throughout November, I'll post an A-Z letter prompt and card idea to get you inspired. You then use the prompt to create your own holiday themed project, take a photo of it and upload it to the challenge. Remember though, there are only 26 letters in the alphabet, which means you'll find a few random challenges thrown into the mix!
- Follow the link at the bottom of any of this month's posts to upload your creations to the challenge. There's no limit on how many cards or projects you create but they must be holiday themed (any holiday) and created during the month of November 2020.
- All the projects submitted will be eligible for prizes throughout the entire month, so get your cards in early!
- Store credit won during any Beccy's Place challenge is only redeemable for digital stamps. All values are in Australian dollars.
- Entries can be uploaded to the challenge from any hosted site including blogs, online galleries, Google photos, etc. If you do not have access to a hosted site, please feel free to email your photos to me and I will add them from the Beccy's Place Guest blog.
- Beccy's Place designers may enter the monthly challenge but are not eligible to win prizes.

ReplyDeleteOh I need to clear my Dt stuff always love your rapid kick up bum to get my Christmas cards done
ReplyDeleteThis challenge really kick started me making cards again last year and I have continued to be creative ever since (and making Christmas cards all through the year)
ReplyDeleteThank you for running this again this year Becky. We are going to have so much fun and can we smash the 1166 record? You betcha we are going to give it a huge try :)
I've already started making cards. This was my first ever challenge entered when I didn't even know what a digital stamp was. Thanks again for hosting this great month of card making.
ReplyDeleteHi it is still October here. I hope the challenge goes well. Hugs Jackie xxx
ReplyDeleteYea it is here the challenge I've been waiting all year long...
ReplyDeleteHappy crafting my friends and looking forward in seeing everyone's creations.
Thank you Beccy
I love that you have this contest! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteThis November challenge should move the cobwebs that have been hanging in my crafty space (brain).
ReplyDeleteI hope to be rocking around the clock making these cards, Thanks Beccy!

Ciao Baccy
Happy scrap!! Taty
I'll be watching for some new ideas during this challenge. I don't play hardly ever, but I'm going to try this year. I always make single cards, no duplicates, so I really need your input to keep things changed up! You all can do it again!!
ReplyDeleteI am over here in my crafting room doing the Happy Dance - - this is one of the greatest challenges offered in November - such fun to create with your images Beccy--- and see what others are making as well - trying my best to get creating ahead of time--- life is short you know - have a blessed week!
ReplyDeleteUnlike other years, I'll be playing only by commenting. I had one of those horrible things happen -- the thumb drive with all my digi images crashed and, out of nearly 9,000 digis, my tech guru has only been able to recove3r about 100, none of which were Beccy's images. I'm crushed to have lost my huge collection of Beccy's Place digis and there is no way on my budget in the midst of the 2020 pandemic that I can go back and purchase all of them. But, I am happy to visit and comment and see what everyone else has created. :-D
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear your thumb drive crashed NanaConnie, that must have been heartbreaking for you! We love our technology but boy can it be frustrating when things go wrong.
DeleteThe good news is that all your previous purchases are saved in your customer account in my store, so you haven't lost anything really. It's just a matter of logging in and going through what you already bought. I'd be very happy to help you regain everything again.
Take care NanaConnie.
Cheers,
Beccy
Well, I remember that you have that fantastic collection of freebies here on the blog so I went and downloaded every Christmas themed image and now I'm off to the craft room to see what I can manage to make. I doubt that I'll get one for each day but I should be able to get quite a few done. Thanks so much, Beccy, for the freebies. :-D
ReplyDeleteYay! I just linked up my first card! I won't be able to make as many cards this year due to some health issues but I'll be doing my best! Thanks so much for all of the inspiration, Beccy! I love this Month of Holiday Cards!
ReplyDeleteSo glad that I remembered to come check out the Month of Holiday challenge!! Can't wait to play along. Thanks so much Beccy!!
ReplyDeleteLast year was so much fun. I do hope I can join in as much as last year. Thank you, Beccy. Let's break the record.
ReplyDeleteJust a question Beccy. The challenge says "cards" but there have been a number tags entered so wondering if a Christmas themed canvas is also acceptable? Thought it was better to check first before entering.
ReplyDeleteHi Suze. Yes, you sure can! Any kind of artsy holiday themed project is fine. The idea is just to get those cards, gifts and projects created in time.
DeleteCheers,
Beccy
Great. Thanks Beccy. I'll upload it today.
ReplyDeleteWow, Beccy! 1080 Entries this year! That is so awesome! Who needs Pinterest for holiday card ideas? There are 1080 fabulous cards right here! Merry Christmas Everyone!
ReplyDeleteWhat a hectic month but I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for hosting the challenge again this year Beccy. After visiting every entry and commenting on the blog and Outlawz ones, I have a greater appreciation for how much time it takes to comment. You deserve a well earned rest now!
ReplyDeleteThere were a lot of inspirational projects this year and I saw some fantastic card folds along the way. Some of them would be great additions to your library.
We didn't quite get to our record breaking number from last year but this year being the way it was could have gone either way!
I now have a good stock of cards, tags and mini cards ready. Next step is addressing them and sending them out or attaching to gifts.
