So emu isn't exactly the first "e" word that comes to mind when you're thinking about Christmas, but this guy has certainly gone out of his way to look festive! A little bit of glossy accents on the light bulbs and star add some fabulous shine to the card.

Emus aren't common in my neck of the woods. I'm not even sure that our local zoo has any. He's a cute critter though and I bet he'd have all kinds of Christmas stories to tell.

ReplyDeleteOh, Beccy, this is such a fun card! Love that emu, even if he isn't first on my list of Christmas critters. His eyes are so expressive and he looks totally baffled as to how he became so wrapped up in Christmas. ROFL
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine this wrapped up Emu singing a little Christmas tune, maybe accompanied by a kookaburra. I love the sound Emu´s make, but I must admit that they are a little bit scary (think it´s those big feet).
