What a pretty card! I remember the first time I saw real mistletoe. The neighbor kids were walking around selling it. If I remember right, they said someone shot it out of the tree for them. It grows here, but I've only seen it way up high in the trees, so I guess that is how you get it down. For us, we have an artificial one that get hung in the same spot every year.
ReplyDeleteThe pretty decorative frame shows off the beautiful image perfectly. Lovely sentiment too. xx
ReplyDeleteWow are we up to U but Wow is a W so I am head. Lol I am all UPside down.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet frame die that is. It's perfect for your delicate coloring.
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, Beccy! Loving that mistletoe image. What a great border. I'm off to find the tutorial for an Upright Diamond Fold card and see if I can make one for the "U." :-D
ReplyDeleteOh, it's not there yet. OK, maybe I'll try the U Fold instead.
DeleteDelightful card Beccy!
ReplyDeleteYour no-line colouring and ornate frame are so elegant!
... I know it's not "U" related but I really do need to try this colouring style, I've used this mistletoe image many times and yours looks completely different without the black lines, so it will be like making an addition to my stash :)
Gorgeous mistletoe, Beccy! I love the simplicity of your card and your beautiful die-cut! I like that sentiment... maybe this card is for your husband? My hubby is always looking for the mistletoe around here! We don't have the real thing, just plastic, but it works!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty, soft shading in your mistletoe, Beccy. The soft blue is beautiful with the soft green. Does it grow down there? It grows so quickly in our oak trees that we actually have to chop down the poor trees. We do use the firewood, though. Hugs, de
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Beccy and that frame for the card is pretty awesome....I like the soft colors of the mistletoe....well done
ReplyDeleteLovely card Beccy, love the simple design and gorgeous frame
ReplyDeleteVery pretty design but you always do such a wonderful job on your cards.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty with the ornate edging.
ReplyDeleteMy latest entry is not a card, but I wanted to share the result of your inspiration!
A lovely card, I like mistletoe. Every year I hang mistletoe from the ceiling and pull my husband to kiss me. Even the grandchildren laugh at us that we still want to.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity and elegance of your gorgeous card. Everyone should have mistletoe and lots of loved ones around during Christmas!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Beccy. Love the soft colouring as well as the Unexpected, Uncharacteristic but Utterly pretty soft blue for the bow and the sentiment frame.
