It was a toss up between ornaments and one layer for today's prompt.
I decided to settle the matter by using both!
YOUR TURN: Create a card or papercraft project using the letter "O" as your prompt.

INSPIRATION WORDS:
ornaments, over the edge cards, oval cards, one layer, origami, outdoor, Our Lord, orange, ochre, onyx
STAMPS:
Wonderful one layer, when in doubt always use both ideas! That's how we get more creative!
ReplyDeleteActually there is a third "O" word for you: over the edge! Gorgeous card. I love the frame you've drawn to focus on the sentiment and pull in the tree. I always forget to do that. But it really make the card pop. We haven't had many ornaments on our tree for the last few years. With Valerie and Arthur around they wouldn't last long (grin!). Thanks for the beautiful inspiration.
ReplyDeleteI did a one layer card and it almost did me in. I guess I'm just a multi-layer girl at heart. Beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteits so very beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteLove your card Beccy. Great idea to do both. I'm with Suzanne because I can't do a one layer card either. I mess them up every time and they usually end up in the trash.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Beccy! I am not a one-layer girl, but I do admire one-layer cards! I really like how you added the black line as it gives the illusion of another layer. For me I want to add the layers, so I'm looking at the other "O" themes for this one!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Beccy and once again fabulous coloring. I love the doodled frame and of course all of that white space.... CAS perfection
ReplyDeleteOH MY, this is such a beautiful card Beccy!
ReplyDeleteLOVE how you cropped and coloured your Christmas Tree, such an ORIGINAL set of "O's", your sentiment delights too :)
Wow, great coloring of the tree and the ornaments. I always struggle with one layer cards.

Wauw ! This is so beautiful and elegant in CAS style! Love the fine line you have added as well. Your colouring of the tree is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAnother beautifully coloured card. At first I thought it was printed!
ReplyDeleteBeccy, thank you for sharing your technique and cards for these every day challenges.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a one layer person or coloring one either but I can appreciate the work you put into your cards.
Thank you for choosing my comment - typos and all. I can always blame my macular degeneration! Once again, you have given us lovely inspiration.
ReplyDeleteFabulous one layer card, I love that you added the lines to the three sides, it keeps your eyes going toward the beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful tree and your colouring is fabulous (as always!)
ReplyDeleteThe placement of the image is really interesting. I would never have thought to do that but it makes for a very sophisticated design.
Pretty card!
ReplyDeleteI truly love this layout and how you put the tree to the left of the card in that position - fabulous! Striking and stunning! TFS
