Happily for me, winter is a distant memory and the summer sun means Christmas is lovely and warm with nary an icicle in sight... except on today's Christmas card! Not only are there icicles hanging from the window frame, but Mr and Mrs Frosty are all a-sparkle with icy frostiness too.
YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "I" as your prompt.

Oh my goodness Beccy. This is beautiful. I have this set but there is no way I can make it like yours. Unfortunately for me, winter is on its way and I am none too happy. Me and winter does not mix. Well, except when I get my hot flashes, then I love to step outside until it passes.
ReplyDeleteLucky you that winter is a distant memory. It should be for me as well but the weather keeps going cold and wet. Perfect for inspiration for wintry Christmas cards though.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Beccy! I love the window design and your gorgeous colouring! We're just starting with winter weather here! We ended up getting a bit of snow Friday night but the sun took care of that and now it's all gone! So there are no snow drifters here! It was beautiful today and great weather for walking!
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought to color the snowm drifters all in a blue... Gorgeous Beccy...
ReplyDeleteThose snowpeople are gorgeous and I love how they are seen through the window in the card front. Beautiful card and a lovely inspiration.
ReplyDeleteGreat details to make this a winter chillin' card!
ReplyDeleteevery where you go. You got me singing, hihihi!
ReplyDeleteLove song sentiments for Christmas cards, my card for today has one too :)
It's such a beautiful card and that cute couple looks so frosty, hope they can warm each other!
Love this card!
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect! We got our first snow here today and kids where out building a snowman!
ReplyDeleteI love the "frosty" colouring and the way you can have a peak through the window
Oh wow how Ingenious love the icey feel to this with the warmth of their love hugging each other
ReplyDeleteFortunately, no icicles here, either, although it did start to feel a little chilly today. It won't be long now before we need to switch on the heating, if only because the dampness is making things uncomfortable. I suppose the houses here in Crete are primarily built to keep the heat out in summer, not necessarily to keep the heat in during winter.

ReplyDeleteI'm in line behind Gail, Beccy. You may be CASED, just sayin'! Love this card. xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful is your card x
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card. I can't wait for snow and frost. I love how icicles hang down and sparkle in the sun. We had to turn on the heating already, and this is a sign - winter is coming.
ReplyDeleteLove the blue colored snow people and your peek-a-boo window card...well done and thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, LOVE how you put them in the window, Beccy! Beautiful icy blues and marvelous icicles.
ReplyDeleteINSPIRING Icy card Beccy!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your scene and colouring!
