We're veering away from the alphabet again today with another bonus challenge.
Today we're using stamps that aren't specifically designed for the holidays on our projects. You can colour the image using traditional holiday colours and you can even add a holiday sentiment, but you must not make any changes to the image itself... no doodling or other additions.
YOUR TURN: Create a holiday card featuring a non-holiday image.

Ohi love this theme and the stamp works so well
ReplyDeleteI have the perfect image for this (at least I think it is perfect).
ReplyDeleteMy this is wonderful challenge. I'll have to get my brain in gear.
ReplyDeleteI love this theme too. I like to look at the stamp sets when I buy them to see how many occasions they can be used. I have to put my thinking cap on.
ReplyDeleteYou just through me a curve. I knew there were other challenges coming but my brain is on holidays so now I have to steer it another way to do another type card. I love your card, it is so pretty. Well, here we go, wish my brain luck.
ReplyDeleteOh boy this is going to be a tough one....I'm a PAPER crafter not a stamper but I will look at the one I have and hopefully something will turn up....but still a great challenge..
ReplyDeleteInteresting challenge...will have to make the grey cells cooperate...
ReplyDeleteBut I guess that's why it's called a challenge, isn't it?

Well now you've got me thinking..... Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Must do some more thinking!!!! Your card is gorgeous, Beccy! I would not know that this isn't a Christmas stamp so you aced this challenge!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Beccy.... This challenge sure made me think... I went through my stamps twice and found nothing I thought I could use besides coloring up a flower in traditional Christmas colors. I was going to use a sheep image and use the sentiment Bah Humbug, but I couldn't find a grumpy sheep. I found every other grumpy animal but no sheep. So I went with plan B.
ReplyDeleteSTUNNING card Beccy!
ReplyDeleteYour colouring is GORGEOUS and your design a DELIGHT - LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I confess, I have used this beautiful eucalyptus image to make three Christmas cards this year, I love it so much:)
Great card! This will be a hard one for me, I think, but will try!
ReplyDeleteEEK! Let's go girls. Y'all can do this. I'm not sure about me, but I have confidence in y'all. [Bunny]
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Beccy! You threw a curve ball because we were all expecting to add our "I" cards but this is such a wonderful opportunity to think outside the box. I'm off to search my images and I'll be back in a couple of hours. :-D
ReplyDeleteNow that is a challenge.... I don't think I have ever used a Non-Christmas image to make a Christmas card
ReplyDeleteI will get my thinking cap on !
So beautiful is your card x
