Lorikeets are very colourful parrots that are common in my part of the world. They arrive in our front yard each morning to drink the nectar from some of the native flowers in our garden and to splash and squawk loudly in the birdbath. Such ostentatious plumage requires lots of bright colours, which took me a while to find in my stash. It seems I tend to go for more muted tones... looks like a trip to the craft store is in order!
Such a happy, summery card, Beccy. I really enjoyed seeing all the different birds when I was visiting the Sydney area some years ago.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful the colours on your card Beccy. Love the Lorikeet set !

Ah agreed re trip to craft store!
ReplyDeleteMind you Beccy, digi paper is good back up I love.. then can just print up ones you want rather than ending up with less favoured ones left.
Love Lorikeets, i call them the clowns of the garden.. I've lots of native plants to encourage and a bird bath. A neighbour that feeds birds though means we have lost our small birds the larger birds rule there sadly.
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
