Day 24 - "V"

"V" is one of those tricky letters that take some thinking time and a little bit of interpretation. I've used the word vintage as the prompt for my card today, which to me, means lots of muted colours and classic patterns.

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "V" as your prompt.

  1. I love the idea of Vintage but admit I never even thought about that possibility. I did, however, take great liberties with the "V" I used. Hope it'll bring a grin to your face. :-D

  3. Great mind think alike. But it took me days to come up with it. I started thinking about V and X days ago. So my first thought was vino. My husband came up with that and I had a card planned out with wine. But then in the middle of the night one night I woke up and thought Virgin Mary. Oh, that was better. So I went looking for an image that I could use for the Virgin Mary and as I was going through my files I found several images of a vintage Santa and a light bulb went off in my head. So my V card was definitely a process. Beautiful card. Love your cute little gingerbread guy with all that sweet candy! Adorable paper and a perfect sentiment! Thanks for the Christmas inspiration.
