An Aussie Christmas just isn't the same without a kangaroo with a pouch full of candy canes. I'm sure my fellow Aussies would agree with me... although some would probably have their 'roo loaded up with cold beer or little pressies for the kids. Needless to say, today I'm going with "K" for kangaroo!

Adorable little 'roo, Beccy! If she was at my house, her pouch would be filled with candy canes, too, but only until the grandkids arrived. :-D
ReplyDeleteOh how fun, I never see Kangaroos around here! Lovely layers and charm, great idea for burlap!
ReplyDeleteAww he's so sweet. He wouldn't like being here with all the snow!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, the kangaroo is adorable, as is the whole set. Too bad that they are not available in digi as I know my friends down under would love to receive those cuties on their cards.
ReplyDeleteSuch a stunning card and your kangaroo is toooo cute! Although I'm dutch I wouldn't mind recieving such a pretty card, can imagine way this stampset was a favorite at the craft fair!
ReplyDeleteNow that's cute! I have not heard of this Aussie tradition so that's so cool. I have never seen a kangaroo in real life either. This is a sweet card. Love the little tree charm. I went with K for Kitty - you can't have Christmas at our house without a kitty (or 3)! I tried dressing them up with Santa hats one year to take a photo but they would have none of it!
ReplyDeleteOh this is brilliant such fun and my aunt in Perth would find this awesome
ReplyDeleteWhat a hopping great card! Kangaroos aren't usually part of our Christmas but I've never met a critter I didn't like (on a stamp) so that 'roo is adorable! That pouch full of candy canes would really make him popular around here. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a kindhearted kangaroo!
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, a cute little roo, love the candy canes in her pouch, reminds me of the Aussie 12 days of Christmas song.... have a wonderful week... Megan
ReplyDeleteLOVE this card, is the kangaroo available as a digi? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the shop. xx
ReplyDeleteSorry Liz, it's only available as a clear stamp.
DeleteCheers,
Beccy

ReplyDeleteK-ute Kangaroo card Beccy :)
ReplyDelete... kangaroos are in the bad books down here, my parents spent weeks and weeks pruning their rose beds and now they have become the favourite treat for invading roos who won't stay on their side of the fences!
Awww Beccy, love love that adorable Kangaroo with the candy cane. Pretty designer papers and layout. That sentiment just goes perfectly with the cute image and makes it a very special Aussie Christmas Card. Well done. Anet x
