Day 12 - "K"

An Aussie Christmas just isn't the same without a kangaroo with a pouch full of candy canes. I'm sure my fellow Aussies would agree with me... although some would probably have their 'roo loaded up with cold beer or little pressies for the kids. Needless to say, today I'm going with "K" for kangaroo!

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "K" as your prompt.

  1. Adorable little 'roo, Beccy! If she was at my house, her pouch would be filled with candy canes, too, but only until the grandkids arrived. :-D

  4. Great card, the kangaroo is adorable, as is the whole set. Too bad that they are not available in digi as I know my friends down under would love to receive those cuties on their cards.

  6. Now that's cute! I have not heard of this Aussie tradition so that's so cool. I have never seen a kangaroo in real life either. This is a sweet card. Love the little tree charm. I went with K for Kitty - you can't have Christmas at our house without a kitty (or 3)! I tried dressing them up with Santa hats one year to take a photo but they would have none of it!

  8. What a hopping great card! Kangaroos aren't usually part of our Christmas but I've never met a critter I didn't like (on a stamp) so that 'roo is adorable! That pouch full of candy canes would really make him popular around here. Thanks for the inspiration!

  14. K-ute Kangaroo card Beccy :)
... kangaroos are in the bad books down here, my parents spent weeks and weeks pruning their rose beds and now they have become the favourite treat for invading roos who won't stay on their side of the fences!
