Today we're putting down our markers, paints and pencils to focus on some good old fashioned stamping. Dig out those solid images, along with all the different coloured ink pads you've accrued, and get stamping. You might want to set up a bit of a production line for this project... it's surprising how quick and easy it is to create card fronts when you're just stamping the image and not having to colour in. I was literally done in four minutes!
YOUR TURN: Get stamp happy!

This one is going to be a bit more of a challenge for me as I mainly work with digital images. I'm sure I can come up with something though!
ReplyDeleteHa, only stamping and no colouring? I was just going to start my 10 minutes of colouring today, to play along with Kathy Racoosin's current 30 day colouring challenge. On the other hand, creating a card in under 5 minutes (or even 10 minutes) sounds wonderful considering the number of Christmas cards I still need to get done this month.
ReplyDeleteI like this challenge. Our printer is running low on ink. Since I won't be printing a digi for this card, maybe it will run out when my DH needs to print something and I won't have to be the one to change the ink!
ReplyDeletewow, stunning card, I love poinsettias and yours are amazing with nice pattern.
ReplyDeleteI am a passionate but horrible stamper so I am planning to do some home-made stamping tool with my husband this winter.
Hummm do I have I any solid stamps that are Christmas?! This will make me dig thru my stuff to see what I have! Your card is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what texture and dimension you can achieve when using different colors of ink. Beautiful card. I'm with Janice, this might take some digging to find solid stamps. An interesting challenge!
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the sentiment and poinsettias!!!
4 minutes?!?!?! INCREDIBLE ... an hour would be AWESOME for me => time to get inky, heading off to search out some stamps now :)
A beautiful card - very classy. I wish I could achieve results like this in 4 minutes! xx
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card. I couldn't achieve this kind of results in an hour so forget about the 4 minutes.
ReplyDeleteTerrific textures with the stamps. I've learned so much in just these few days of your challenge. So much inspiration.
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could stamp. Just not my thing so don't buy many stamps. But you made an awesome card.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty.
ReplyDeleteAmazing what can be created by just using a stamp. I really must let go of my marker pens and give this a go
ReplyDeletePoinsettias are one of my favourite flowers, and you created a gorgeous card with this stamp!

Such a pretty card. It's hard to believe it only took 4 minutes to make. I'm not sure I have any solid stamps. May require a visit to Michael's or Hobby Lobby.
