Of all the flowers and foliage that are popular at this time of the year, poinsettias are easily my favourite, and I don't think I'm alone in my preference. I have seen so many wonderful cards and paper craft projects featuring these beautiful plants, and they are not only done in gorgeous shades of red and green, but almost every other colour of the rainbow too!

Oh, how I love that flower. When me father-in-law lived, he used to give me one each year in the beginning of December, because he knew how much I loved that flower. Thank you Beccy for this challenge.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Wellington, one of the stores had a poinsettia in it at Christmas time that reached several levels of the shop. Always loved going in and seeing that tree! Love the combination of the red and gold on the poinsettia Beccy.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Beccy. More polka dots and the gold embossing is beautiful. Last year we found a blue poinsettia and bought it right away. That was early in December and it lasted well into the new year with it's gorgeous blue blooms. Looking forward to seeing these beautiful flowers again this year. Thanks for the inspiration.
