Another year has rolled around and it's time again for the annual Month Of Holiday Cards Challenge - my absolute favourite challenge of the year. I always feel so inspired after looking through all the fabulous entries that are posted, and I love reading the comments that are left... some are inspiring, many are complimentary, and then there are those that are just plain hilarious!
I'll have a new card idea to share with you every day this month, which I'll also post on Facebook so you can follow on the go. Hopefully by the end of November we'll all have a nice little collection of holiday cards and hand made gifts to send out to our loved ones.
Upload all your creations using the inLinkz tool at the bottom of this post. There's no limit on how many cards or projects you create but they must be holiday themed and created during the month of November 2016. All the projects submitted below will be eligible for prizes throughout the entire month, so get your cards in early!
~ ~ ~ How To Win ~ ~ ~
Daily Comments
Every day a clever, funny or inspirational comment will be chosen,
winning its author a single digital image of their choice.
Weekly Winners
Every Saturday during November I'll select three cards from the submissions below.
Each card artist will win a digital stamp set of their choice.
Random Winners
I'll select cards from the submissions below at random times throughout the month.
Each card artist will win a digital stamp set of their choice.
Monthly Winners
At the end of November, five random cards will be chosen from the submissions below. The creators of those cards will each win five sets of digital stamps.
NOTE: Beccy's Place designers are welcome to join in the challenge and are eligible for daily, weekly and random prize draws. However, they are not eligible for the final random draw at the end of the month.
Is it the first of november yet in your country? Here just afternoon of the 31/10...
ReplyDeleteI've posted a christmascard today, so I will add my link! Curious for your cards!
Nancy
Wonderful! I always look forward to your month of holiday cards and all the beautiful inspiration! It's a great opportunity to get more Christmas cards made! I just liked your FB page although I don't spend much time on FB (I'm Karen Garber over there).
ReplyDeleteLast year I loved the event and was already looking forward to this year. I am anxious to see what inspirational post you will have for us this time.
ReplyDeleteOh, Beccy, I'm SO GLAD this challenge has started.
ReplyDeleteBut I think I have to wait with my first card until tomorrow. Here in Europe we still are in October! We are a little bit delayed, you know ........
Looking forward to all the great inspirations.
Liv xx

Het is voor mij de eerste keer dat ik hier

Sorry mijn Engels is niet zo goed, daar

Ik heb net mijn kaart gepost.
ReplyDeleteMijn favoriete kleurtjes zijn kraft en wit.
Groetjes Diny
I have a couple questions. Do they all have to be Beccy images (by the way, I love, love them) or can any work and also, Can they be Thanksgiving cards or only Christmas. And my favorite colors together are Green and Pink. Sarah
ReplyDeleteHi Sarah.
DeleteNope, they don't have to be Beccy's Place designs, you can use any images from your collection.
Any holiday card is acceptable for this challenge as long as it's made this month.
Cheers,
Beccy
It wouldn't be November without this challenge. I don't know how I'd get my Christmas cards finished without it! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh this is my first time with this yearly challenge. Not sure I will get a card a day but hopefully will get a couple. I'm also glad to know I can do Thanksgiving cards too. So does this challenge take the place of the monthly challenge this month? Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI'm getting on board the Holiday Train with you. I've followed you from the very beginning. You were talented then, and you continue to flourish and create even more if that's possible. I look forward to the ride this month.
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy - Thanks for this monthly challenge - a great way to get Christmas Cards completed and time to create them as well - this is encouraging! Have a blessed week.
ReplyDeleteHallo liebe Beccy,
Hi BeccyI did not send a card yesterday. I do not know what a mirror is, and I could not it find a description of how they are made.
ReplyDeleteToday is something else. I know what Polka dots are. I always imagine a circle of girls dancing the polka. It makes me smile and makes the day so much better.
Thanks for all the work you've done, so that we can all learn something new and have fun. With that said, I will dance into my scraftroom.
Hi Conny. Mirror cardstock is just shiny, metallic-looking card board. I'm not sure if it's available in your country, but it's fairly common here and has been on the market for many years.
DeleteYou don't have to make a card based on the daily prompts if you don't want to... you can post any holiday card you like. The prompts are just there to help inspire you and give you ideas.
Cheers,
Beccy
