Every now and then I feel the urge to create a mini album, and fortunately for me, I have a varied stash of wonderful papers that I've gathered (or hoarded, depending on your perspective!) over the years, including this fabulous collection from Kaisercraft called "Art of Life". For a bit of contrast, I added some hints of aqua to the primarily black, cream and brown colour scheme.
The decorative strips were included with the paper stacks, while most of the phrases and tags came from a pack of matching Kaisercraft Collectables that I purchased along with the paper.
this is absolutely perfect. Every detail is wonderful. I love it <3
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfectly beautiful album, but I am wondering what spine system you have used for this, and I love the paper and the aqua flowers, these are my favourite colours, thanks, Jasmine PS any chance of a tutorial?
ReplyDeleteHi Jasann,
DeleteThank you for the kind comments about my album, I enjoyed putting it together. The spine is made from folded cardstock, in a kind of concertina. I do have an old tutorial for a similar album, but I have since tweaked the spine to give more room for embellishments.
Anyway, the tutorial should give you an idea of how to go about putting one together. Here's a link: http://beccysplace.blogspot.com.au/2014/09/mini-album-this-life.html
Good luck!
Cheers,
Beccy
