Snow globes were the inspiration for the card I created today. After colouring the image, I placed it behind a circle of embossed acetate and added lots of stamping, glitter and embossing to the background to give the effect of a glass dome filled with little snowflakes.

I love the snowglobe effect that you have created Beccy. What a clever idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the white poinsettias forming the base of the globe and how they mirror those held by the snowman.
ReplyDeleteLove how you framed your snow globe with those poinsettias. I was going to say I had never tried making a snow globe card, but I guess that would be a lie, since I already made 2 shaker cards. I think it's time to create another one.
ReplyDeleteThen again, your snow globe card is much easier to mail. Hmmm...
What a delightful idea, love snowglobes and this is just what I am looking forward to making on this hot day. Beautiful additional goodies to this wonderful creation...
