Day 19 - Snow Globes

Snow globes were the inspiration for the card I created today.  After colouring the image, I placed it behind a circle of embossed acetate and added lots of stamping, glitter and embossing to the background to give the effect of a glass dome filled with little snowflakes.

    Love the white poinsettias forming the base of the globe and how they mirror those held by the snowman.

    Love how you framed your snow globe with those poinsettias. I was going to say I had never tried making a snow globe card, but I guess that would be a lie, since I already made 2 shaker cards. I think it's time to create another one.
    Then again, your snow globe card is much easier to mail. Hmmm...

    What a brilliant idea to make a snow globe - I have always used my die to make them.
    Snow globes have a special meaning for me - my husband and I collect them when we travel and our first snow globe is from Paris.
