So far I've used all my scrap pieces as backgrounds for the cards I've created, but today I decided to try something a little different and cut a shape instead. Just as I was about to throw the excess in the bin, I realised I was defeating the purpose of using up the scraps... I was trying to prevent waste, not create it! Fortunately I was able to save the negative and use it to create another card.
Stunning- I love what you have done with the scraps.
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy, what spectacular cards, I can't believe these are made from scraps, they both look wonderful! I too hate tossing scrappy bits away, mine get bagged by colour or collection and every so often I go through the bags a decide to donate it to a local childcare centre, both the staff and the kids love using up the scraps and left over bits for their craft activities, the kids used it like a treasure hunt to find special pieces...Have a great weekend...Megan
