Day 9 - Embossing

Embossing is quick and easy and adds lots of great texture and dimension to your paper craft projects.  For my card, I've used heat embossing for the bird and sentiment, and dry embossing to add the pattern in the background.

YOUR TURN:  Create a card that is either heat or dry embossed... or both!
Upload your creation here.

  2. I love using embossing on my cards too. Dry embossing can add so much interest and transform to a plain piece of card, I still get a thrill every time I use an embossing folder! The same goes for heat embossing, when the powder melts it's like magic!

  3. What a gorgeous bird stamp! The gold looks amazing! Embossing is one of my favourite techniques, especially dry embossing. Don't know what my cards would be without embossing! I use my Cuttlebug a lot!

  13. Pretty card! I use dry embossing lots, and heat embossing some. What I think would be really pretty would be to use a Christmas scene (for what I am thinking a Nativity scene) stained glass looking stamp and either do it on vellum or a clear acrylic sheet. I do have problems with those papers warping, though. Could just do it without heat embossing--just not the effect I am looking for. Wishing you a wonderful day.
