Earlier this year I purchased two gorgeous Christmas Stamps designed by Michael Powell featuring little winter villages waiting for Christmas to arrive. I used my Distress Markers to colour them and then layered the images on some matching cardstock, stamped a little sentiment and drew a quick border for a simple, fun card.
YOUR TURN: Colour a Christmas image with watercolour inks - Distress markers, Aquarelle pencils, Inktense, ink refills, watercolour paints, kids markers... whatever you have access to.

These are just beautiful .I have just looked on the Michael Powell site and these stamps are sold out .Did you get yours from an Australian stockist ? .
ReplyDeleteI found them in a local store here Gail, but I think they are available from a few places around the net. They are produced by Urban Stamps and Docrafts.

I love what you've done here, Beccy. Those stamps are beautiful, and the watercolours have such a lovely look and texture - they really bring the scenes to life. I have Tombow watercolour markers and I really don't use them enough any more - I seem to reach for my Prismacolor pencils instead. You have just inspired me to get out my watercolour markers - thank you!
ReplyDeleteBeccy, these are stunning. The effect you have created with the snow especially, looks so realistic. What beautiful scenes you have created to welcome Christmas. Thanks for continuing to inspire us.
ReplyDeleteSo soft and pretty! I love the look of water coloring. You did it to perfection!
ReplyDeleteBeccy, no wonder you wanted these images, gorgeous as is your coloring on them. I hope to link something for this challenge. So much fun. Trying to catch up as I was away for a day or so.
