I love buttons. There's something decidedly homely about them.
I know lots of people who collect buttons in jars (myself included), and they're not necessarily old or ornate buttons, just those spare buttons that seem to float around the place just waiting for someone to pop them in a jar. I spent a very pleasant half hour looking through my button jar for five red buttons to create this card. I drew the holly leaves with a felt tip pen and then coloured them in with kids markers.
