Day 8 of the Clean and Simple Card Making class was all about techniques. We were shown a couple of videos featuring different stamping techniques as well as some PDFs that had full instructions for different things to do with your stamps and inks. For my homework project I decided to try the plaid stamping, which was time consuming but strangely satisfying. The finished product looked to me like a piece of patterned paper, except for the little bits where I didn't quite line my stamp up as closely as I should have!
Wow, I am impressed. I thought that it was patterned paper when first looking at the thumbnail...beautiful job on this technique!
ReplyDeleteVery impressive like Patti said...I too thought it was patterned paper...fab job..xx
ReplyDeleteWow! This looks just like a patterned paper...If you haven´t write anything about the tiny miss you´ve done...I couldn´t se the different. Thanks for sharing this technique!

ReplyDeletePlaid stamping is still on my to do list, but I love how you've used it. I actually think the tiny irregularities add some extra texture and interest. Besides, no one will know unless you tell them what to look for LOL.
ReplyDeleteThis looks really nice. I would really like to try this but what stamp would I use? I dont have a stamp like this. Will have to find one.
