I don't use a lot of black on Christmas cards, I've always felt it too somber a colour for such a festive occasion. Lately however, I have enjoyed the simplicity and elegance of black... not in large quantities but just enough to make a bold statement. I have so enjoyed working with this image (if I may say so myself) that I ended up making a stack of the simple Christmas cards shown at the bottom of this post.
Viv created this gorgeous card by inking the embossing
folder before running the card stock through.
Eret has used some cute little pine cones and dimensional
paint for a wonderful woodlands-look card.
I created a very simple card with a punched snowflake border.
