I have so many 6" x 6" books of patterned paper it's ridiculous. I thought it was about time I actually cracked a pack open and put it to good use... this little album was the result. I added some beautiful flowers and a butterfly as well as a sentiment tag using a stamp and punch from Stamping Up. The lace and organza ribbon is from my stash - another area I really need to crack open more often!
WOW Beccy this is gorgeous love the design and love the paper's you have used. Caroline xxx

ReplyDeleteIs there a tutorial available for this album? Looking at it, I think I have it figured out, but I'd like to know for sure. I would also love to see how you've decorated the inside. I love your work Beccy, I'm certainly glad I happened upon your site!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl,
DeleteI'm sorry, there's no tutorial for this little album. The pages are actually little pockets that I made by folding long pieces of cardstock and sealing all but the top edge. I bound ten pocket pages together to form the book, then made tags to slide inside each page.
I can't remember exactly how the pages were decorated now - the book sold last year - but I think I used the same collection of patterned papers and similar embellishments to what you see on the front.
Good luck with your album, I'd love to see the finished product!
Cheers,
Beccy
