I believe it is also called parchment paper or bakery release paper.
My candles aren't overly glossy, they probably just appear that way in the photo. That happens when the outer layer of wax on the candle starts to melt and absorbs into the napkin.
Cheers,
BeccyBeccyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00440145902919125017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4436666751094697075.post-32031008354453439722015-11-01T09:10:17.058+10:002015-11-01T09:10:17.058+10:00Beccy, what is baking paper? I notice yours are glossy and would like mine that way. Is that from the "baking paper?" Will wax paper work also? waterwalkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08282782816266063951noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4436666751094697075.post-22320327334732773842013-01-09T20:08:54.373+10:002013-01-09T20:08:54.373+10:00Stunning! You need to separate all the layers of the napkin (usually they are 3 ply) and cut it to fit the candle. Wrap the napkin around the candle, and then wrap a piece of baking paper around the napkin. Use your heat gun to heat the candle and the wax will melt through the napkin holding it in place. The wax melts very easily so don't leave the heat in one place for too long... and be careful of the hot wax on your skin!
As I mentioned in the post, there are a lot of tutorials on the internet related to napkin art... just do a search and all sort of things come up.
Cheers,
BeccyBeccyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00440145902919125017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4436666751094697075.post-39142146077294995682013-01-07T10:34:42.661+10:002013-01-07T10:34:42.661+10:00How did you do this? How did you do this?skinnycookiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01436031180524286160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4436666751094697075.post-56821313988918152812013-01-07T10:34:02.186+10:002013-01-07T10:34:02.186+10:00How did you do this i want to surprise my beautifu...How did you do this i want to surprise my beautiful daughter.skinnycookiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01436031180524286160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4436666751094697075.post-31401367789633081282013-01-07T09:54:01.931+10:002013-01-07T09:54:01.931+10:00Wow Beccy, you are so good at everything you do, a...Wow Beccy, you are so good at everything you do, aren't these marvellous!
hugs
GlendaGlenda Atkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10787938584494936674noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4436666751094697075.post-80672999557797216132013-01-07T04:00:01.409+10:002013-01-07T04:00:01.409+10:00Beccy these are
