Day 6 - "E"

I love to "extend" my favourite images by adding simple additions with a pen and some colour. One of the easiest ways to do this is by drawing a string of Christmas lights, which can be attached to almost any image, and then adding a little bit of colour.
A couple of years ago I put together a tutorial on how to "extend your stamps" with pens, markers and mediums. Here's a link if you'd like to take a look - TUTORIAL.

YOUR TURN: Create a card using the letter "E" as your prompt.
Click on the link to add a photo of your creation:

INSPIRATION WORDS:
elves, eggnog, evergreens, easel cards, exploding cards, embossing, ecru, ebony, embellishments, encaustic, envelopes.

I would like to live in that little village all dressed up for Christmas. I like the idea of using the same stamp in a different way. I feel like I'm really getting my money's worth out of it too.

Just watched the tutorial... I am always looking for ways to extend my stamps and digis. I always try to look at a couple of ways before I even buy these days... This technique opens up a lot more possibilities to use new and some of the older stamps that I have. Awesome coloring on those cats too. Love the addition of the Christmas lights...

I've never considered myself an artist really. And I've tended to shy away from challenges that required doodling because I've never liked what happened when I tried. I have difficulty drawing a straight line. I love what you've done and I'm going to give it a try. I've recently started adding some extra doodles with white gel pen and I find that I can do that reasonably. This might be out of my comfort zone but trying it out never hurts. Thanks for the tutorial and the beautiful inspiration!
