When I was a child I was fascinated by the beautiful egg art I used to see in books and on television. I was amazed that something as delicate as an egg shell could be used to create such amazing works of art, oftentimes with sections of shell that were cut out or drilled. I've never tried the craft myself but I still stop to admire it when I'm at the craft conventions and I'm still in awe of the intricacy and delicateness of these beautiful creations.
I decided on a monochromatic colour scheme for my card and used lots of different mediums to add sparkle and shine. The image is layered three times to make it seem as though you are looking into an actual egg.
Annie created this beautiful Easter card with a die cut front. She decorated the inside of the card with a beautiful picture of a sun dappled meadow and then layered the image over the top.
Eret's card uses lots of gorgeous die cuts that give her card a beautiful, lacy appearance. She coloured the egg in beautiful soft blues, added some gold metallic ink on the stand and then finished with some glossy accents for a wonderful shine.
